Catalog Request Mailing Update
For everyone who requested a catalog between 3/11/09 and 3/27/09, your catalog is mailing out the week of 3/30/09. If you need a catalog, just fill out our catalog request form. Mailings go out every 2-3 weeks.
If you haven’t noticed the streaming matches had encountered some technical difficulties and the video was not coming through right away. Sounds like Jerry from AZ was on it though, running out to get some new cables! They got it all figured out now but we missed most of the quick the first match of Kelly Fischer playing Rachel Eliazar. Kelly won 9-0. Next up is Kim Jones vs Gerda Hofstatter. Nobody knows for sure who will be the next streaming match but they are going to get the best match available from what it sounds like. Hopefully, our good friend “Rowdy” Sarah Rousey gets some air time.
If you want to be one of the cool kids, I would suggest clicking on the livestream link on the top right of the video and you can chat with everyone who is watching! Or just click this link, and it should take you right there. ENJOY and Happy Friday!
Q: Is this stuff really Master Chalk?
A: Yes, it is.
Q: No seriously, what kind of chalk is it?
A: Master Chalk.
Q: How come its cheaper to buy than regular Master Chalk?
A: Mostly because we love our customers. Also, because we know that it will get left on tables and maybe someone who hasn’t heard of us before will pick it up, use it and come to the conclusion that both PoolDawg and Master Chalk are totally awesome.
Q: OK, but are you sure its real Master Chalk.
Q: Sweet! Where can I get some?
Q: How much is it?
A: 3 Bucks
Q: For real Master Chalk?
Q: Will you be giving it away next month at the BCAPL Championships?
A: You’ll have to stop by the booth to find out, but yes.

We’re hard at work over here getting the new version of PoolDawg up and running, so I thought I’d share some of the progress with you all. Here’s the latest design round for the front page:
As you can see, we’ve dropped the right navigation off to give a little more breathing room. In addition, we’ve changed the navigation a bit, so we now have options on both the top and the side for navigating, moving the most popular categories to the top and giving you more options to search for cues and cases on the side. Lastly, we’ve moved most of the customer service information and links down to the footer of the page.
Most of these changes are the result of talking to our customers, so we’re pretty pumped about getting this launched. As always, we want to hear what you think so let us know your thoughts.
For all you folks that were looking to get a PoolDawg hoodie, they are now back in stock. We just got another shipment in from our supplier, so we have all sizes available from Small to XXL. Each hoodie features the PoolDawg logo on the front seperated by a full length zipper and a small stitched red bulldog on the back shoulder.
Here at PoolDawg, we love pool but that doesn’t mean that we spend all our time in the basement/bar/pool hall (depending on which PoolDawg employee you talk to). Every year we unchain Keven from his desk for a week and let him go on a hut trip in the Rocky Mountains. Basically, you go out to the mountains, drive as far as you can, then snowshoe the rest of the way. Generally speaking, we just hope he’s able to find his way back to civilization before the BCAPL championships in Vegas.
Extreme PoolDawg isn’t just for Team PoolDawg though. We got an email the other day from one of our customers who put together this seriously kickass video of him windsurfing in Hawaii.
And while they were busy hitting the backcountry and the waves, I was rockin’ out and tearing the house down.
Ok, so maybe I took a picture of Jerry Joseph and pretended that it was me so I could sound cool like the other guys. Still, the resemblance is uncanny…
